Our Background

Our parent company has been operating in Western Europe and America for the past 15 years, providing storage, point of sale and co-packing services for a number of prestigious clients including:

In January 2005 we entered the Russian market to provide Gillette in Russia the same services (storage, distribution, vacuum packing, point of sale and labelling) that it currently enjoys in Western Europe.

ABILENA was formed in the late summer of 2005 in order to expand these services and our customer base.

Our management team and workforce moved to a custom refurbished warehousing complex near the centre of Podolsk, far more suited to our requirements with regard to working conditions, transport and security.

Our newly refurbished complex includes:

• Newly sealed and laid dust-free floors, walls and ceilings, to ensure that customers’ goods are kept in ideal clean conditions
• Extensive loading and unloading bays allow us to turn truck around very quickly
• Limited access to working areas greatly improves security
• Secure storage for small high value articles has reduced losses to zero
• Currently 7500 square metres of floor space gives us the flexibility to accept even the largest of orders

Services currently provided:

• Storage and Distribution
• Vacuum Packing: Years of expertise, present capacity from 35,000 to 45,000 units per day
• Point of Sale: Services include stand assembly, filling, packing and distribution. Rigid quality control ensures that our customers’ goods and displays reach their destination in perfect condition
• Gift Packs/Presentation Packs: Our experienced and highly skilled operators assemble and fill a variety of containers and cartons with virtually no spoilt or damaged packs
• Labelling and Stickering: Extensive experience in the careful opening of packaging, accurate application of stickers and subsequent re-sealing ensures that when goods arrive they are in perfect condition
• Security: For many years we have been handling small high value articles.  Each one of our staff is security screened and we operate a system of limited, specific distribution from a secure store. With total individual accountability and 100% exit control our losses have been virtually zero
• Performance Accountability: With total flexibility and over 100 full time and part time staff we can meet all our customers’ requirements. Our current contracts range from 5,000 to 1,500,000 units and we have a 100% record for completion of contracts on time.
